      Brian La Piazza

    Brian La Piazza
    Associate, Taxation

Brian is a very experienced tax professional, who spent almost 20 years in a Big 4 environment advising a varied client list. He joined the firm in 2001 and provides technical and management support to the tax practice.

Despite being a lifelong Clyde FC fan (some would say "the" lifelong fan), Brian brings fun to the world of tax as well as some sound caution about any wild tax schemes that the partners may come up with.

Brian enjoys scoring technical points against the Revenue on a regular basis and whilst that may not seem like a major advert, he is definitely the man to have on your side if you are unlucky enough to be picked for a tax enquiry - the newly merged "HMRC" seem to have few tax experts left with Brian's credibility and experience.
