Gillian Campbell

Gillian has worked within the corporate recovery/insolvency sector since 1999, initially for 5 years with a big four firm based in Glasgow, before moving to Milne Craig in 2004.

After joining Milne Craig, Gillian initially supported the Insolvency Partner before widening her experience by undertaking a shared role with the audit and accountancy department. This hybrid position allowed Gillian to undertake formal training culminating in a professional qualification with ACCA in 2008. Her focus then turned to the Joint Insolvency Examination Board (JIEB) exams which she passed at first sitting in 2011.  Since then she has predominately worked in the insolvency sector, obtaining a full appointment-taking Insolvency Licence issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) in January 2017.

Being both a Chartered Certified Accountant and a licenced Insolvency Practitioner provides Gillian with an invaluable range of experience when guidance is required by individuals or corporate entities who may be facing challenging personal or trading circumstances.

Gillian has experience in many aspects of formal insolvency procedures and also can provide practical advice to those who are in a distressed financial position or require a professional view on related matters such as debt collection and director responsibilities.
